Welcome to the Licensee Verification Site of the Rhode Island Department of Health. This Web Site provides public access to all information on all individuals, facilities and other entities licensed or certified by the Department of Health.

In the Fall of 1997, the RI Department of Health, in cooperation with the RI Department of Administration, initiated a state-of-the-art management information system providing health care professionals and the general public with current data on Rhode Island's health care licensing process. This web site provides access to over 104,150 active licenses, representing 74 health professions and 470 license types.

We are pleased to provide you with this valuable public information tool and to provide Safe and Healthy Lives in Safe and Healthy Communities in Rhode Island.

The information on this site is made public pursuant to Access to Public Records Law, R.I.G.L. 38-2 et seq. The data is derived directly from the HEALTH License 2000 database and updated on a daily basis.
