Centers for Disease Control and Prevention/National Center for Injury Prevention and Control
The National Center for Injury Prevention and Control (NCIPC) works  to reduce morbidity, disability, mortality, and costs associated with injuries. This site includes information on suicide, youth violence, and family and intimate partner violence.

Department of Justice Crime Statistics
This site provides statistics on U.S. homicide rates and other crimes.

Hate Crime Training Program
Sponsored by the RI Commission of Prejudice and Bias with funding from the RI Justice Commission (RIJC), this site promotes the prevention of hate crimes through education, training, and cooperation. 

State and Territorial Injury Prevention Directors Association (STIPDA)
A national nonprofit organization comprised of public health injury professionals representing all states and territories.

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention CDC WONDER
Provides a single point of access to a variety of CDC reports, recommendations, and numeric public health data and statistics.

Children's Safety Network National Injury and Violence Prevention Resource Center
A resource center for child and adolescent injury and violence prevention.

Injury Prevention Web
A service of San Diego State University and the State and Territorial Injury Prevention Directors Association (STIPDA) provides Rhode Island injury data Birth-24 years

.Injury Free Coalition for Kids
A national program of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation comprised of hospital-based, community-oriented programs, whose efforts are anchored in research, education, and advocacy. Providence is one of 27 sites included in the coalition.

National Association of Injury Control Research Centers (NAICRC)
NAICRC promotes scholarly activity in injury control and addressing issues relevant to the prevention, acute care and rehabilitation of traumatic injury.
